What is it?
The T7T Series is a line of smart electronic transmitters built for accurate temperature measurement. Each unit provides a standard 4–20 mA output along with HART® digital communication, making it compatible with modern automation and control systems. The design allows for both built-in configuration via display and push-buttons, or remote configuration through any HART®-compatible communicator.
Where is it used?
The T7T transmitter is used widely across many industrial sectors, from chemical and petrochemical plants, oil & gas facilities, to marine/offshore installations, food & beverage, water treatment and more. It is suitable for installations on pipes or tanks, and can be mounted with or without a thermowell, making it adaptable to diverse process environments.
How does it work?
T7T works by accepting a standard temperature sensor input (e.g. a Pt100 RTD). The onboard electronics convert the sensor’s signal into a 4–20 mA analog output, and simultaneously make temperature readings and diagnostics available via HART®. Configuration and calibration can be done locally on the device or remotely with a HART® communicator. The flexibility in mounting (direct to pipe/tank, with or without thermowell, or with remote sensor bracket) allows easy integration into many different setups.
What problems does it solve?
The T7T Series solves several common challenges in industrial temperature measurement: it ensures accurate and stable temperature readings, provides both analog and digital outputs for flexible monitoring and control, and supports remote configuration and diagnostics, making maintenance and calibration easier. Its versatile mounting options simplify installation on various types of equipment, and the combination of reliability and flexibility makes it a practical solution across different process industries.
