About the role                                                                             

The Inside Sales Engineer is responsible for independently managing commercial and order-related activities for the existing customer base. This is a fully inside-focused role with no outbound or cold acquisition responsibilities.

The position combines commercial ownership with operational coordination and covers the full commercial process from quotation through order processing to delivery coordination. Acting as the primary commercial interface between customers, engineering, and management, the Inside Sales Engineer ensures clarity, continuity, and reliability in day-to-day commercial operations.

What you’ll do

Customer and Commercial Ownership

  • Act as the primary point of contact for existing customers.
  • Manage ongoing customer relationships and commercial communication.
  • Handle incoming commercial requests independently.
  • Ensure consistent and professional customer interaction.

 Quotation, Order and Delivery Management

  • Prepare and coordinate quotations in collaboration with the technical team.
  • Manage the full order lifecycle from quote to delivery.
  • Process and monitor orders using AFAS as the central ERP system.
  • Track order status, delivery timelines, and commercial commitments.
  • Ensure accurate follow-up and timely execution of agreements.

 Internal Coordination

  • Translate customer requirements into clear, structured input for technical teams.
  • Align commercial agreements with technical feasibility and delivery planning.
  • Coordinate internally to ensure smooth execution across teams.
  • Escalate exceptions only when necessary.

 Process and Quality

  • Maintain accurate documentation in AFAS and related systems.
  • Contribute to improving and standardizing commercial and order management processes.
  • Safeguard accuracy, consistency, and reliability in commercial execution.

What you bring

  • Bachelor’s degree (HBO level or equivalent).
  • Minimum 2+ years of relevant work experience in inside sales, commercial operations, or order management.
  • Experience in a technical or B2B environment is a plus.
  • Experience with ERP systems; AFAS experience is a plus.
  • Able to work independently and take ownership of end-to-end processes.
  • Structured, accurate, and hands-on working style.
  • Fluent in English (Dutch is a plus).

What we offer

  • Gross monthly salary of €3,250 – €3,750 (full-time equivalent), depending on experience.

Project Engineer

As a Project Engineer Industrial Automation & Instrumentation, you are responsible for the complete technical execution and coordination of projects. You combine hands-on tasks with project management, both nationally and internationally.

Tasks & Responsibilities:

  • Project Preparation & Quotations
    Preparing specifications and assembling quotations, in collaboration with the sales team.
  • Engineering & Design
    Selection and sizing of PLCs, field instrumentation, SCADA/HMI, and communication networks, in close coordination with the Technical Director.
  • Commissioning & Validation
    Installing, calibrating, and testing systems on-site.
  • Fault Analysis & Support
    Quickly diagnosing and resolving complex faults, both on location and remotely.
  • Project Coordination
    Managing subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams according to planning and budget.
  • Documentation & Reporting
    Delivering as-built drawings, FAT/SAT reports, and final documentation.
  • Client Contact & Training
    Providing technical training and system handover to operators/crew.
  • Willingness to receive training both domestically and abroad.

Job Requirements:

  • MBO+/HBO in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Instrumentation, or Automation

  • Minimum of 3–5 years relevant experience in industrial or maritime projects

  • Willingness to travel internationally

  • Independent, proactive, and customer-oriented

  • Good command of Dutch and English

  • In possession of a category B driving license and VCA-VOL, or willing to obtain
