What is it?
The T72 Series is a line of submersible, smart electronic level transmitters intended for hydrostatic-pressure level measurement. Each unit uses a 4–20 mA output combined with HART® digital communication, ensuring compatibility with modern control and monitoring systems. Every sensor is individually calibrated together with its own seal, guaranteeing high measurement accuracy and long-term stability even under challenging conditions.
Where is it used?
T72 transmitters are suitable for a wide variety of settings including chemical, oil & gas, pharmaceutical, food & beverage, water treatment plants, and marine/offshore installations. They perform particularly well in tanks, reservoirs, vessels and any liquid storage systems, also in environments with potentially explosive atmospheres.
How does it work?
A T72 sensor is submerged into the liquid; it measures the hydrostatic pressure exerted by the liquid column above it. This pressure is converted into an electrical 4–20 mA signal. At the same time, HART® communication enables remote configuration, diagnostics and monitoring. The smart electronics and calibration ensure reliable and repeatable level measurements regardless of surface turbulence, foam, vapor or other disturbances.
What problems does it solve?
The T72 eliminates common challenges in liquid level monitoring. It ensures accurate and stable level readings, crucial for safety and process control. The combination of analog and digital output allows flexible monitoring and efficient remote diagnostics, reducing maintenance needs and downtime. Because each sensor is individually calibrated, you get consistent performance over time even when conditions change. Its submersible and robust design simplifies installation, ideal for tanks, wells or hard-to-access locations. Finally, using a single transmitter type for many level applications reduces complexity and inventory costs.
