What is it?
The MPX is a medium-pressure calibrator designed to generate precise pressures up to 26 bar absolute for testing and calibrating mechanical or electronic pressure instruments. It integrates both the pressure generator and the pressure display in one compact, portable device, allowing accurate comparative measurements in a simple setup.
Where is it used?
The calibrator is used in laboratories, workshops, industrial plants, and field service environments where pressure sensors, gauges, and transmitters need to be verified or calibrated. Its rugged housing, battery power, and carrying case make it suitable for mobile use, while its precision makes it valuable for maintenance teams, calibration technicians, and process control industries.
How does it work?
The MPX generates pressure using an integrated air hand pump. A test instrument is connected via the Serto coupling and G1/4 adapter. The user builds coarse pressure by pulling and pumping, then fine-adjusts the value through the built-in precision regulating valve. The integrated digital display shows the reference pressure with 0.05% FS accuracy, and the device includes functions such as zeroing, peak/valley detection, leak measurement, and USB data output.
What problems does it solve?
It provides a portable, accurate, and self-contained calibration solution without requiring external pressure sources or large calibration benches. The integrated pump, display, and measurement functions simplify instrument testing, help detect leaks or sensor drift, and make documentation easy via USB. Its long battery life, durable construction, and included accessories ensure reliable performance in both field and laboratory conditions.
