What is it?
The HPX is a high-pressure hydraulic calibrator designed to generate precise pressures up to 700 bar for checking and calibrating mechanical and electronic pressure instruments. It combines a pressure generator and a digital display in one compact unit, providing highly accurate reference pressure for comparative measurements.
Where is it used?
The calibrator is used in laboratories, service workshops, industrial plants, and field environments where pressure instruments must be verified or calibrated. It is suitable for technicians working with transmitters, pressure gauges, sensors, and other pressure-based equipment in industries such as oil & gas, hydraulics, process control, and maintenance services. Its rugged case and battery operation make it ideal for mobile use.
How does it work?
The HPX generates pressure using an integrated screw compressor filled with hydraulic oil. The operator connects a test device to the G1/4 port, builds pressure by turning the screw pump, and reads both the reference value on the HPX display and the value shown by the device under test. The calibrator offers a 0.05% FS accuracy, peak/valley detection, zero adjustment, leak testing, and USB output for data transfer to a computer.
What problems does it solve?
It provides a portable and precise solution for validating pressure instruments without large calibration equipment or external pumps. Its integrated generator eliminates the need for external hydraulic sources, while the built-in display, data functions, and USB interface simplify calibration and documentation. The durability, long battery life, and protective carrying case make it ideal for on-site calibration tasks in demanding environments.
