Neohance is engineering and building four customized extractive gas sampling systems for Koppert. The systems will be used for continuous CO₂ and O₂ measurement across four tanks, providing important process data to support monitoring, validation and optimization of the production process.
The Challenge
Koppert is expanding its production capacity to support the growing demand for microbiological solutions used in sustainable agriculture. As these production processes are scaled up, maintaining stable and well-controlled process conditions is essential.
CO₂ and O₂ concentrations are important process parameters within this environment. Reliable and continuous measurement provides valuable insight into the conditions inside the tanks and supports both process validation and ongoing optimization.
Our Scope
Neohance is responsible for the engineering and construction of four customized extractive gas sampling systems, one for each tank.
The scope includes:
Extractive gas sampling and sample conditioning
In an extractive gas measurement system, a gas sample is taken directly from the process and transported to the analysis system. Before measurement, the sample is conditioned to ensure that it reaches the analyzer under suitable and stable conditions.
For this project, Neohance combines gas sampling, sample conditioning and continuous CO₂ and O₂ measurement in customized systems designed specifically for Koppert's four tanks.
This approach enables consistent monitoring of key process parameters and provides reliable measurement data for further process analysis and optimization.
Supporting reliable process performance
The gas sampling systems form part of the wider expansion of Koppert's production capabilities.
By providing continuous insight into CO₂ and O₂ levels, the systems help create a reliable data foundation for monitoring process conditions, validating performance and identifying opportunities for further optimization.
Neohance's role is to translate the measurement requirements into complete, application-specific gas sampling systems ready for integration into the production environment.

CO₂ and O₂ are important process parameters. Continuous measurement provides ongoing insight into process conditions and generates data that can support monitoring, validation and optimization.
An extractive gas sampling system removes a representative gas sample from the process and transports it to an analysis system. The sample can first be conditioned to ensure suitable measurement conditions before the gas concentrations are analyzed.
