What is it?
The SMART 3 Blizzard is a fixed refrigerant gas detector designed for continuous monitoring of refrigerant gas leaks. It uses advanced infrared sensor technology to deliver accurate, stable and long-term gas detection, making it a reliable safety device for professional HVAC-R and industrial applications.

Where is it used?
The SMART 3 Blizzard is used in non-classified areas such as machinery rooms, laboratories, technical rooms and HVAC-R installations. It is specifically intended for environments where refrigerant gases like R32, R410A, R134A and other modern refrigerants are present and must be monitored to meet safety and regulatory requirements.

How does it work?
The detector continuously samples the surrounding air using an infrared sensor that identifies refrigerant gas concentrations with high selectivity and accuracy. When gas levels exceed preset thresholds, the device activates visual LED indicators, an internal acoustic alarm and output signals, while configuration and calibration can be performed wirelessly via the SENSE interface.
