SICK MARSIC300 emission monitoring solution

What is it?
The SICK MARSIC300 is an advanced continuous emission monitoring system designed for maritime applications. It accurately measures exhaust gases such as sulfur dioxide (SO₂), carbon dioxide (CO₂), and nitrogen oxides (NOₓ), complying with IMO MARPOL Annex VI emission control requirements. The MARSIC300 is approved by various classification societies (including DNV and MED) and is used worldwide on vessels equipped with exhaust gas after-treatment systems such as scrubbers and EGR systems.

How does it work?
The MARSIC300 uses optical measurement technology (NDIR and UV) combined with extractive sampling. Flue gas is drawn from the exhaust system through a sample line, cooled, and analyzed in the measuring module. With automatic calibration, integrated self-diagnostics, and modular design, the system is reliable, low-maintenance, and easy to integrate into existing setups. The MARSIC300 can monitor up to six components simultaneously, including O₂ and H₂O, and continuously logs data for reporting to port authorities or for internal monitoring.
