The SMART WiO (Water-in-Oil) sensor measures the amount of dissolved water in oil, known as its humidity. Every oil type can hold only a limited amount of water, its saturation point (100% humidity). Beyond this level, free water forms, which can cause corrosion and damage.

Since the saturation point varies with temperature, oil composition, and ageing, the SMART WiO automatically compensates for these factors to ensure accurate readings. It also includes pre-alarm and main alarm functions to warn of rising humidity levels. Built with durable stainless-steel housing, the SMART WiO is designed to perform reliably even in harsh environments.
