Tyco 4B 4″ Detector Base 517.050.041

The new Tyco 4B 4” detector base is designed to snap-fit to the ceiling tile adaptor or it can be screw fixed to a ceiling in the traditional manner.

A complete range of Tyco matching bases and accessories to complement the Low Profile Detector Range; including standard bases, isolator bases. These provide a cost effective method of adding functions and flexibility to the fire detection installation.

For humid and environmentally challenging applications such as marine or offshore installations: Optional 4B-DHM Deck Head Mounting available separately.

Key features include:

• The Tyco 611H-F is a fixed temperature 60°C heat detector. Heat detectors offer an acceptable, but less sensitive alternative to smoke detectors if environmental conditions rule out their use.

  Tyco 611H-F 516.600.214 marine fixed temperature heat detector detects abnormally high (static) temperature. It uses two networked thermistors in a bridge configuration to provide a fast response that depends on the absolute temperature reaching 60°C.

  The fixed temperature heat detectors are ideal for use where smoke detectors and rate-of-rise heat detectors are unsuitable; for example (kitchens and boiler rooms).
