The PR200 programmable relay provides an alternative to PLC control in many industrial applications in control engineering. This DIN rail-mounted control relay is a universally applicable and easy-to-operate micro-control system with an LCD display. The compact PR200 is available in various versions for DC and AC voltage, as well as in different combinations of digital and analog inputs and outputs.

The PR200 features a convenient control unit, consisting of a two-line LCD display of 16 characters and six function keys. A real-time clock and up to two RS485 interfaces for connection to a Modbus network are available. The compact controller can be expanded with additional input and output modules, such as the Mx110 modules from akYtec, and can be used as a master or slave in the Modbus network. Simple programming via function blocks

Users can create the control processes of this mini-PLC using the user-friendly akYtec ALP software in the Function Block Diagram (FBD) language according to IEC 61131-3. The programming environment is available for free and is included with the PR200 programmable relay. This allows users to create their own function blocks or macros or rely on existing ones. akYtec has integrated an online database that allows users to download free pre-programmed macros from akYtec itself or from other users.

The software also includes a simulation mode and a complete overview of resource usage and availability in the project. Only a USB interface is needed to transfer the program to the PR200 control relay. The required connection (mini-USB) is located on the front of the micro-control behind a protective cover. The PR200 is supplied in a DIN rail-mountable housing.
