The G4100 NOx/O2 Analyzing Systems are in-situ gas analyzers that directly monitor NOx and O2 concentrations in exhaust gases. These systems consist of the NOx/O2 analyzer, a sampling board, and either an ejector probe or a diffusion probe with a sensor for the accurate monitoring of NOx and O2 levels. They provide reliable data for SCR/combustion optimization and data for legal environmental reporting requirements, ensuring compliance with environmental standards. The systems are easy to install and integrate into any industrial environment.
Ejector Probe and Diffusion Probe
The ejector probe on the NOx/O2 analyzer (G4100) drives an ejector pump that draws the sample gas into the measurement chamber, ensuring a fast response time. Ejector probes are used in areas with low or negative gas pressure. In contrast, the diffusion probe (G4130) ensures that the gas is diffused into the measurement chamber. The simple design also minimizes maintenance. While the response time is not as fast as using the ejector probe, the diffusion probe is sufficient for most industrial applications.
User-Friendly Operation
The G4100 NOx/O2 Analyzing Systems use a zirconium dioxide sensor with multiple diffusion cells. The sensor is small and robust, placed directly in the probe head, and operates reliably in harsh industrial environments. In other words, the systems can be installed on the chimney without special protection, requiring only a small filter. The sensor technology enables measurements on a wet basis at high temperatures, avoiding the drawbacks of sample lines, sample systems, and converters. An additional advantage of the G4100 NOx/O2 Analyzing Systems is the touch screen interface, making them extremely user-friendly for staff.
Continuous Optimization
Using a G4100 NOx/O2 Analyzing System in conjunction with an emission reduction system such as selective catalytic reduction (SCR) or exhaust gas recirculation system (EGR) allows continuous optimization of fuel combustion, urea injection, and other operating parameters. Real-time emission data provided by a NOx analyzer is crucial for diagnosing engines and equipment.
Low Maintenance Costs
The simple design of the analyzers makes them cost-effective to install, operate, and maintain. A complete system includes an automatic backflush probe connected to the sampling board. Automatic backflushing of the probe head keeps it free from loose soot and dust. The period between each backflush is dependent on the actual flue gas and the degree of pollution on the filter.
Service and Support
The design of the G4100 NOx/O2 Analyzing Systems ensures low ownership costs. The systems require occasional cleaning with a soft damp cloth on the touch screen. They have consumables that can be easily replaced by staff. In case assistance is needed, for example, in replacing consumables or retrofitting to a new system, Green Instruments provides full service and support to ensure optimal operation throughout the product's lifecycle.
