G1100 Opacity Monitor: Monitoring Air Clarity
The G1100 Opacity Monitor is a line-of-sight opacity monitor designed to measure air clarity in chimneys. Specifically tailored for monitoring acid mist in chemical processes, the G1100 is equipped with two PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene) heads placed directly opposite each other, ensuring resistance to acid mist. The system measures the full range of opacity (0-100%) and is suitable for various industrial applications, including refineries and the petrochemical industry.
Weather-Resistant Enclosure
The G1100 opacity monitoring unit is housed in a specialized insulated and heated enclosure, providing additional protection and allowing the system to withstand ambient temperatures ranging from -45°C to +55°C.
Alarm Features
The opacity monitoring system responds quickly to acid mist. It features two freely configurable alarm relays set at 20% and 30% opacity, respectively.
Low Maintenance Costs
Designed to operate in extreme environments with heat and vibrations, the G1100 Opacity Monitor requires minimal maintenance, except for occasional lens cleaning and calibration. The optical components can be easily cleaned without the need for special tools, and the air purging system keeps the optical lenses free from soot contamination.
Service and Support
The G1100 Opacity Monitor is easy to install and takes up minimal space. The monitor only requires occasional cleaning of the optical head and lens. Should assistance be required, Green Instruments provides comprehensive service and support to ensure optimal operation throughout the product's lifecycle.
